Zoic has a mountain biking heritage that goes way back - so when it uses a statement like 'finally a short for aggressive women riders', Minx is just the tiniest bit scared and knows that this time it's serious... For starters, calling this a 'baggy' is something of a misnomer, because the fitted cut over the hips and flat front make for a profile that's anything but baggy. It is however very flattering as well as supremely practical as there's nothing to snag on the saddle and the stretch fabric moves with you. The material actually feels lovely - smooth yet surprisingly abrasion resistant for its light weight.

The legs are roomy but not unflatteringly voluminous (the accepted term 'baggies' is really a misnomer for this type of short)  and if you usually have trouble fitting your legs then finding the waist too big - there's a generous waist adjustment to pull in as required.

For pocket features, read 'lots'. Two at the front hip, two cargo, one back and one MP3 with headphone port. The possibilities for portage are endless quite frankly. Comes complete with the fabulously named 'Kick Ass' liner (also available separately) in lightweight mesh with a flexy women-specifc pad. The liner can be detached for washing (great for multi-day rides), or if you want to wear the shorts on their own. Which you will, because they look so great. 11" inseam.
