Planning on putting in some road miles? Going to hit some epic trails? Make these your foundation. Clearly not the cheapest short in the world (ahem) but if you suffer with your delicate bits or want to put in long riding hours, the RS could be worth the investment. The Ultra Aero fabric which is designed to maximise airflow and reduce friction, while supporting the muscles is only the start of a construction dedicated to cycling comfort. The 10-panel design is extremely supportive (Minx supposes it would be inappropriate to care about how flattering it is amidst all this performance detail, but hey- it does something great to sporty thighs), and there isn't an inseam, which helps keep bulk down. It is the Formula FX chamois however that best resembles space technology. It has a Multiply advanced lamination construction which places more shock-absorbing padding where you need it, less where you don't. The surface is completely seam and stitch-free and fit and air flow are maximised by welded articulation lines. Additional centre perforations work even harder to keep you cool and dry where it matters most. If that all sounds complicated (and it is), all you need to remember is that it works. Slighlty more low-tech, but still important, signature leg gripper elastic and flat seam detail round it all off. 8" inseam.
Minx likes; wearing these shorts, then forgetting she's wearing them.
