Minx first met Ana Nichoola founder Anna, during a 'cross race. And yes they did actually take time out from racing (although in Minx's case that word is used in the very loosest sense) to chat about bike clothes. Since then Minx has followed the emergence of the brand from quirky student start-up to the serious contender it now is. Anna's strength is that she spends a lot of time taking to women cyclists about what they want, and then combines that with individual style.
Nowhere is that research more evident than in her arm warmers. Hearing women complain arm warmers can be too short or always fall down Anna has made these longer and with a combination of flexible rib and elastic to hold them in place. The deep cuff can also be easily pushed pushed up, and the front panel has a soft fleece back for a divinely plush feel.
Measurements given are for the actual arm warmer - they are designed to be worn snug and the cuff should feel tight as you push your hand through but not uncomfortable once in place. If you're between sizes go up one.
