Gore Bike Wear™ Trans Wales Offer
Ever really really fancied trying the Trans Wales but bemoaned the fact that all the after-ride camping and cooking leaves you with no time to prep your nails and lay out your outfits for the next day's riding? Well set aside the excuses and start planning your colour co-ordinated assault, because those lovely people at Gore Bike Wear™ are offering Minxes the opportunity to enter this seven day stage race as a FULLY SUPPORTED pair or solo rider at a hugely reduced cost*. That means a tent and food waiting for you at the end of each stage, which all joking aside makes a big difference, especially if this is your first time. Full details can be found by clicking to download the PDF left.
Once you're all officially signed up, Minx will give you 20% off any last minute pre-race essentials. It's a glamping, bike riding and discounted shopping experience all rolled into one - what's not to love?
*Subject to place availability at time of entry.
Spring / Summer 2010
The Sneak Peek Issue
It's February, and Minx for one is gazing out at a grey wall of as-cold-as-it-possibly-could-be-before-it-turns-to-snow mizzle and riding in short sleeves again (or anything less than three layers frankly), seems a long way away. Sometimes a girl needs a little inspiration to work through the pain, so in customary fashionista style Minx brings you a preview of some of her favourite looks for the coming summer all beautifully interpreted by our fave design girl Nicole. Ride in style.A Girls' Cycling Compendium
Issue One
A Girls' Cycling Compendium came about because - well because we just fancied doing it for a bit of fun. A collection of random thoughts and articles by like-minded riders (mostly but not excusively girls). Everyone loved it and has spent the time since asking when we're doing another. The answer to that is NOW. It will be published online here for you to download every six weeks or so and include a Q&A section as well as stuff you never knew you needed to know but will be delighted to read anyway.
But until we get issue two finished, and for all those that didn't get to see the first one, click on the cover left to have a read. And if you're a budding writer / photographer/ artist with a contribution for the future, drop Minx a line via the contact page.
