The Cycletta events, supported by Victoria Pendleton (who will be riding at both), are two 40km cycle sportives that are exclusively for women. Riding will be on traffic free roads and they are are designed to encourage women’s cycling at every level. Haven’t got a super-sexy road bike? Don’t possess fabulously fit thighs? It doesn’t matter, as long as you have working wheels you’re good to go. It’s any bike, any pace. The entry fee is £45 but the lovely people at Cycletta are offering Minxes two free entries* at each event.

Issue Two
The latest issue of the Compendium is now available to download or read online - or drop by to see us at the Cycle Show and nab one of the limited print run copies we'll have there. Including an insider interview with the design duo behind cult brand Twin Six, a surprisingly short 'all you need to do' yoga session created especially for Minx by Andria Davis, a first person account of just why you should be trying 'cross racing this winter - and an ever so slightly (but very useful) tongue in cheek guide to dealing with punctures. There's more of course, but why spoil it.....

The Sneak Peek Issue
It's February, and Minx for one is gazing out at a grey wall of as-cold-as-it-possibly-could-be-before-it-turns-to-snow mizzle and riding in short sleeves again (or anything less than three layers frankly), seems a long way away. Sometimes a girl needs a little inspiration to work through the pain, so in customary fashionista style Minx brings you a preview of some of her favourite looks for the coming summer all beautifully interpreted by our fave design girl Nicole. Issue One
A Girls' Cycling Compendium came about because - well because we just fancied doing it for a bit of fun. A collection of random thoughts and articles by like-minded riders (mostly but not excusively girls). Everyone loved it and has spent the time since asking when we're doing another. The answer to that is NOW. It will be published online here for you to download every six weeks or so and include a Q&A section as well as stuff you never knew you needed to know but will be delighted to read anyway.
