About Minx

Want to express your inner girliness while kicking mountain bike ass? Like to ride into town, but hate making café stops in Lycra? Don’t want your bum to look big just because you’re dressed to ride a bike? Then you’re probably a minx.

Founded a tad over five years ago, minx-girl.com is a website dedicated to cycling clothing for girls - and it’s so much more than shiny shorts. Founder Debbie has a long cycling history, from London commuting to triathlons and 24 hour mountain bike racing and she felt that women in the UK cycling market had been left wanting for choice, and couldn't see why there had to be a distinction between stuff you wore on a bike, and stuff you didn't. In other words, why be forced to ride a bike in clothes you wouldn't otherwise be seen dead in?

That’s why at minx-girl.com you’ll find cool baggies, relaxed cropped pants and even flirty skirts that will transform how you feel about getting your legs out forever. Of course there's sleek stuff too, because some days you need to go faster, further - or both. But for that we select high performance female-specific products and we test them all too - just to make sure.

Minxes don't care if it's a road bike, mountain bike or anything in between. We just like to ride - and it's this passion that allows us to offer our very personalised advice service. Need kit for a multi-day ride, your commute, a 24-hour race, freeride fun, lengthy road training? Email Minx - chances are either she or one of the rest of extended riding team have done it and will be able to help. We are especially good at sharing the pain of sporty thighs....

On days off from her constant quest to find new kit (it's hard when shopping for others is your day job...), Minx pedals the quiet Somerset lanes on her surly Cross Check or plays in the dirt on her custom Jones, which she will confess to loving just a little too much....
